There is an old saying, “if you have your health, you have everything”.  Yet the stresses and demands of busy lives often rob us of our most valuable asset, our health.  My goal is to provide guidance to a healthier, happier life.  I left a successful corporate career to become a health counselor and begin that effort.  I am passionate about my approach because it works.  Let’s design a plan that will change your life.

About Me

While working in corporate America, I’ve watched the evolution of business men and women move from lean to overweight and from energized to daily fatigue.  I’ve listened to the inevitable acceptance of medications for cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes.  My own story is very close to this.  I was over weight and my cholesterol was climbing.  I struggled with psoriasis for 22 years and learned that the burning in my chest was called GERD.  I was looking at multiple medications to fight off these escalating diseases.

While mass media proclaims a new life with daily medication (if you survived the side effects), I found a different approach.  Through research and education from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Certification from Purchase College – SUNY, and board certification from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners I found methods to change my health.  I have studied all the major dietary theories and discovered which approach works best for my bio individuality.  My cholesterol is in a normal range and the burning in my chest is gone.  The result that surprises everyone including my doctor is the elimination of psoriasis.

Good Health doesn’t have to be hard.  Simple changes have moved my life in exciting directions.  My energy level has increased to allow me to gain certification as a ski instructor, ocean kayak and hike glaciers.  Today I live a life that is medication free, balanced and full of adventure.  One of my favorite sayings is “Make Life an Adventure – Create Some Passion”.  Let’s build your adventure.
